The friendly guys at hisandhersmag.co.uk have managed to extract some interesting data about how Liverpudlians are welcoming their guests to the city. The research - released to coincide with the John Lewis and Airbnb "The Perfect Host" Masterclass Programme - shows that scousers "know the way to their guest’s heart is through food with 71% of hosts in Liverpool filling the fridge as soon as they hear a guest is coming to stay, more than any other city."
It also went on to find "Liverpool hosts are great believers in making guests feel welcome by offering a northern brew and a sweet treat, with 42% of hosts providing a kettle for guests and 36% leaving chocolates and other snacks."
